The Contour Multi-Lift is wider in the shoulder and foot area of the raising back rest, it starts to gradually taper inwards where the patient's body doesn't require the extra width as much but helps your body get in closer without bending. The couch then gets wide again at the face and shoulder section.

The ergonomic and functional design was created after years of research and development into the most optimal and comfortable positioning for the practitioner without removing comfort from the patient.

The dimensions are 73cms (29 inches) in the shoulder area, gradually tapering to 21cms (24 inches) in the mid section and back out to 29 inches in the foot section and raising back section.

The length of the Contour Multi-lift treatment couch is 204cms ( 80 inches).

One clinic or treatment room may have many different height therapists who perform many different modalities and as mentioned above, the Clinic Essentials™ range wants to work with you in achieving your goals and maintaining your priorities. The height range is generous to allow for many different treatment styles, modalities and therapist heights. The whisper quiet DEWERT German electric motor raises from the minimum height of 52cms to 98cms. 

The electrically operated mid section raises from 0 to a maximum 150 degree angle and gives a truly beneficial stretch to assist you smooth out the erector spinae and entire lumbar area. You will have felt nothing like it before, the first time experience it.

The manual backrest raises to 70 degrees angle at it's highest point allowing the patient to be completely upright.

As you can see, Clinic Essentials™ has you fully covered with the design elements but what about the comfort?

Effective treatment couches need to be comfortable, yet supportive. Not too hard and not too soft. The CONTOUR™ range has a very comfortable 7cms of semi-firm high density foam. The foam is built up underneath over three layers.

Clinic couches can get used heavily each hour of the day. The upholstery needs to be reliable, hard wearing and long lasting. The PU leather on the CONTOUR™ range is very strong and hard wearing all the while maintaining a luxurious feel and touch to it.

The comfort of the ergonomically shaped face cushion has to be seen to be believed but we hope the demonstration video helps convey how comfortable and supportive it is. The 9cm face cushion sits on top of a face cradle which you can manually adjust through 45 degrees up and down. Underneath the face cradle is a large and comfortable contour arm shelf which also adjusts backwards and forwards to cater for different body sizes and arm lengths. The face cradle adjusts easily with the patients head rested in it. 

When buying an electric treatment couch make sure you find out what brand the motors are and where they are made. This is a big investment for you and your investment should last you many years. The most common part to fail on electric treatment couches over the long run is the motor and you should avoid any electric couch with Chinese made motors. Clinic Essentials™ uses DEWERT motors Made in Germany. They are the most reliable electric motors in the industry and are plug and play which means the can be easily swapped over without additional specialist work if anything happens to them years down the line.

The DEWERT German 2 x whisper quiet motors quickly & smoothly brings the electric couch from the minimum height of 52cms to 98cms and the mid-section from 0-150 degrees angle independently of each other. The lower than normal height setting makes it easier for elderly clients and clients with disabilities to get on and off. The low height also makes it a fantastic treatment couch for therapists who work with their body weight and need the height adjusted lower.

You control the motor and height of both sections via a simple to use foot pedal which can be positioned anywhere, 360 degrees around the treatment couch so you can actually adjust the couch while treating, if you feel a little bit of height adjustment is appropriate mid-treatment.

The treatment couch has four lockable castor wheels so it can easily be moved by one person to the side of a treatment room when not in use or to another treatment room if needs be.

The CONTOUR™ range has a very strong steel frame. The couch and motor has a lifting weight of 450lbs during treatments which is 32 stone.

We have taken photos which you can view above of the lowest and highest height of the treatment couch with a 5'9" therapist so you can see how it will measure up against you in real life. This couch is suitable for therapists ranging from any smallest height to a highest height of 6'6" comfortably.

We use DEWERT German motors on the DayDream range which are the best in the industry so you should not expect any problems but for your peace of mind, if anything does ever happen many years down the line we can provide the spare parts for you. The Dewert motor and separate foot pedal are both plug and play so can be swapped out easily if ever needed unlike many electric couches where the whole couch would have to be replaced.

DELIVERY

DELIVERY TERMS

The delivery takes place by a third party transport firm who will deliver to the outside of your door or kerbside depending on the premises type. The item is heavy and needs two people to lift the box inside the premises. Once you know what day the item is due to arrive, please arrange for help to carry the item inside. These items are expensive to deliver and we offer free delivery. If you are not at home when it arrives or refuse delivery for any reason the transport company charges us another delivery fee which can be up to £150 depending on your post code.  If there is a second delivery fee you agree to pay this fee because you were not at home the day of delivery. But let's try to avoid this every happening :). We tell you above (where the price is displayed at the top of the page) what day the item will arrive so please make sure you are at home and have help to bring the table inside. If this day does not suit you, you must contact us and tell us when you place your order/leave instructions in the special notes box at checkout.

DELIVERY

Mainland UK (Excluding Highlands & Islands):

FREE  Delivery on all Massage Tables. Delivery on these larger couches will take 3 days. We dispatch our orders every day at 12 noon. If we receive your order before 12 noon, it will leave us that very same day and arrive 3 working days later (Monday to Friday). For example, if you order before 12 on Monday, you will receive it on Thursday. If you order it on Thursday, it arrives on Tuesday. If we receive your order after 12 noon, the order will leave us the following day. Deliveries take place Monday to Friday only.

Everyone who works at Massage Warehouse, is or has been in the past, a qualified therapist.We stand behind our products and if for any reason you do not like something or it is not a good fit for you, we will accept it back no questions asked.

We have a 30-day return policy for returnable items beginning with the date of delivery. We believe 30 days provides enough time for product inspection. For massage tables, please note how it is packaged when it arrives (a photo with your phone may help!) and please keep all the packaging. You can set up the massage table and try it for size but if you think you will return it please do not use it for a treatment.

Defective products, wrong shipments, or those damaged during shipping will be replaced or refunded, free of charge of course.
