1. Porta-lite Delta II

The Porta-lite Delta II is our best selling treatment table, particularly to sports therapists. It is also the most comfortable, lightest and strongest lightweight treatment table available today. It comes in 2 widths, 28 inch and 30 inch so is suitable for larger patients which often is the case with professional sports teams.

2. Porta-lite Delta I

The Porta-lite delta I has all the same quality and components of the Delta II table but it is narrower at 25 inches wide. This makes it even lighter to carry and the narrower width can be more suited to quick pitch side treatments and assessments. If you are undecided which width to go for, find out the width of the treatment tables you trained on at University and decide if you want to stick with that width or go wider or narrower. For most therapists it is best to stick with a minimum of 28 inches wide for better patient comfort however if you want to make the table as light as possible then the narrower 25 inch wide massage table may be more suitable for you.

3. Earthworks Perform

If you are not so concerned about having a very light weight treatment table then this is hands down the best sports therapy table available on the market. It is the same high quality and has the same components and features as the Porta-lite Delta above except it has a lifting back rest for seated treatments and to raise the patient for increased comfort.

Having a lifting back rest increases the weight by around 3KG however, the Earthwork Perform is still the lightest full dimension treatment table with a lifting back rest on the market. We do sell lighter but you compromise client comfort by reducing on table size and width .

Just like our large range of treatment tables, we have a large range of supplies to help you in your treatments. But to make it easy, we have picked out a few essentials below to get you started and you can always add other supplies at a later date further on in your studies or career. 

Top picks for Massage Oils, Lotions & Waxes:

1. Our favourite oil and our customers favourite oil for many years has been the Melrose  water dispersible oil. It has a great glide and wipes of the patient nicely without leaving a residue and washes out of towels and couch covers easy peasey!

2. Our favourite waxes for sports massage therapists are the Songbird Sports

Massage Wax and the Fascial release wax. You can try them both out in economical 100g tub sizes and then if you prefer one or the other buy the larger tubs.

3. Our favourite sports lotion is made by Naqi. They make a number of different lotions for varied grip and treatment styles but the one we recommend for you is the sports lotion.  

You can try it out economically in 100ml or 500ml sizes and then if you find it's for you it's available in bulk 5 litre sizes. If you and a few fellow students buy the 500ml sizes you can all chip in and buy the larger 5 litre size to refill your bottles and save even more!
