Portable Massage Tables
If you are a professional therapist try and go for the higher priced massage tables to offer your clients professional equipment during their treatment A massage table priced around £250 should last your entire career and portray you professionally to your patients/clients and the price difference between the cheaper massage tables may sometimes only be one or two treatments.
When choosing your massage table, the first question you need to ask is Do I need a back rest?
This will obviously depend on what treatments you provide. Due to the back rest support mechanism massage tables with back rests are normally about 2-3 kg's heavier so if you don't require this feature during your treatments then it is better to stick with a flat massage table as it will be lighter to carry.
The second question is Do I need a lightweight massage table? Aluminium massage tables are obviously lighter. There are also different grades of aluminium massage table with those at £250 and upwards being of exceptional quality and strength.
Lighter couches made of aluminium are generally a little more expensive but you will be glad in the long run if you are carrying a massage table around with you regularily!
