Lightweight Portable Massage Table

Portable massage tables vary in weight and width. Sometimes the number of lightweight portable massage tables on the market can be overwhelming when you are looking to find the right kind of table for you.

The weight listed on the web page does not include the carry case. The carry case will add an additional 1-2 kilos to the table, and even more if you have accessories or oils in the bag too.

We classify a lightweight portable massage table as one that is 14kg or less. Our best recommendations are the PortaLite Delta I and PortaLite Delta II. At 10.3 kilos - 12.7 kilos, these are high-quality, professional level tables.

If you need a table with a lifted backrest, the options are more limited in the 10 - 14 kilo weight range. The inclusion of a backrest will add an additional 2-3 kilos to any table. If you must have a backrest, The Advantage II is a good option if you are looking for a table at an entry level price. 

All professional level tables with a backrest are in a weight range of more than 14 kilos. But never fear! We have two options for you if the table you want is too heavy to carry.

Firstly, the use of the Wedge Bolster, weighing 1 kilo, is a great alternative to a lifted backrest. You can purchase a flat table and then take the wedge bolster to appointments when needed. 

Many therapists find that they only need the backrest for a small number of appointments, so the bolster saves you the unnecessary strain of the extra weight every time you move the table.

Secondly, any table - NO MATTERwhat the weight - can be easily be turned into a lightweight portable massage table with the use of a wheeled carry case or massage table cart. These wheeled assistants take all the pressure off your body and allow you to roll to your next appointment with ease!
