Therapists asked for a massage wax with a tighter grip for greater tissue control.

As a result, Fascial Release Wax was developed in consultation with James Earls.

James is an international lecturer in fascial release techniques and anatomy.

The new blend gives the best amount of grip into the connective tissue, allowing the therapist to manipulate it in a wide variety of ways - lengthening, differentiating and mobilising it.

Fascia is the fibrous wrapping which contains and holds all of the elements of our body in place. As a live tissue it is able to adapt itself to mould our bodies into particular patterns that we create through movement.

Fascial Release Wax is used extensively in Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and Sports Massage. It is also the medium of choice for those therapists who prefer a tighter grip for deep tissue work and the extra control it gives.

SUPER GRIP BLEND

The Fascial Release Wax Super Grip blend goes even further and offers an even stronger grip that the normal Fascial Release Wax.

It has exactly the same formula, but is designed to have a much stronger grip.

On initial touch, it almost feels like a solid block of beeswax. It was given the thumbs up by those therapists who trialled it, many of whom can't wait to use for their Fascial and Myofascial Release work. It has very little oil in the blend so there is no slip or glide.

Who should use the Normal Grip?

Normal use in Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and Sports Massage.

Who Should use the Super Grip?

Specific deep tissue, Fascial and Myofascial release work. Not for general massage or any work needing glide.

Always have a pot handy

I do generally prefer to use oil but the wax is really great if my client has a lot of hair. I know that sounds weird but it stops the hair from getting tangled up and creating knots.

I particularly love using the waxes, you don’t need loads of product for good coverage and it stays workable for some good time. Really love using and will be buying again
